We are telling you every two by three: technology is here to make things easier for us, if we have coverage and enough battery power, and there is no self-respecting city that does not have a great tool for us to manage ourselves by its domains. That wonder that is the Paseo del Arte in the capital of Spain now has its own help to visit it, and we are looking forward to trying the new application that will guide us through 24 works of art in Madrid.
From this week this new tool is available so that we can give ourselves a wonderful essential walk through art or more representative of the three main art galleries in Madrid: the Prado Museum, the Reina Sofía Museum and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. Everything at the touch of a button and internet connection.
The three reference museums in the capital constitute one of the most important concentrations of painting in the world, impossible to cover in a visit of a few days, the new application comes to make things easier by choosing for you eight works of each of the three museums, with explanations via text and audio of paintings such as ‘The Garden of Earthly Delights’ by Bosco, ‘Children on the beach’ by Sorolla or ‘Hotel room’ by Edward Hopper.
Of course what is sought is to encourage the joint visit of the three museums in Madrid and part of requests from the directors to promote the subscription of the Art Walk, which can be bought from there and what is 20% cheaper than loose tickets. This available in nine languages (Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Mandarin and Japanese) and is available for all devices. It also comes out together with a bilingual guide with the same content. Of course the initiative seems fantastic to us and we lack time to go and try it.
